Not the Woman President of Harvard

Click on the photo to hear Drew Gilpin Faust's comments about her election today as the 28th president of Harvard University. Displaying the usual level of humility at my alma mater, she described Harvard as "the most talented community perhaps in the entire world" and issued an eloquent call for "new ways of working together." I liked how she acknowledged the historic aspect of her appointment as the university's first woman president, and then firmly set that label aside the better to focus on the collaborative work ahead.
